Bill Kantor is a Principal at Tech Strategies. He is also an investor and advisor to software and information-technology companies. Drawing upon a successful track record of fund raising, business development and high-growth sales management, Bill helps clients raise capital, grow, and build strong businesses.

Bill has extensive operational experience in information technology businesses. He led Business Development, Sales, and Marketing efforts as EVP of XMPie (variable data printing software) where his efforts led to a 300% growth rate. As VP of Sales and Marketing at Conjoin (sales force effectiveness software) he increased the average deal size by 3x and successfully positioned the company for an acquisition by intranets.com. As an advisor and later as EVP at Unica Corporation (marketing automation software) he led the company's growth from its first customer shipments to over $20M in revenue. Bill was Vice President of Sales Kenan Systems (telecommunications billing software), where he grew revenue from $35M to $170M in two years, leading to the acquisition of Kenan by Lucent for $1.5B. He was a pre-funding cofounder of OnDisplay, which after a successful IPO was acquired by Vignette. He was CEO and president of Visage where he led a successful turnaround and sold the company to Microtouch. He began his career at Teradyne where he held a number of sales and management positions.

Mr. Kantor holds a B.A. in Physics from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Marketing and Operations Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is a board member of several private companies.
